I came here last weekend for a quick treat after seeing a movie in the area. I waited in line for quite a while and by the time I got up to the counter all of the staff were literally no where to be found. When someone finally came out of the back area they were moving stuff around and replacing ice cream containers but absolutely no one even acknowledged me or the other people waiting. Just a simple "I'll be right with you" would suffice. This location is also really visibly dirty. It looks like there is no maintenance or regular cleaning happening at all. I don't usually come here but I certainly won't ever again.

It is Ben and Jerry's so what is not to love about the ice cream? Well, the last time we went the floor was sticky in most areas and slippery in others. I am never sure which is worse, nearly falling and breaking my leg, or losing my shoe in the sticky grim on the floor.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to sample (more than once, shh...) their new Chocolate Macadamia ice cream: chocolate and vanilla ice creams with fudge covered macadamia nuts (sustainably-sourced of course!). It was yummy and left me dreaming about it for days. Then I remembered I still had my free birthday cone coupon that I got for signing up for their ChunkMail. Free ice cream is a good thing. Alas, this location did not have the new Chocolate Macadamia flavor or the Hubby Hubby (temporarily named that way to show their support). Nor did they have the Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road flavor. Humph! I settled for Vanilla Heath Bar Crunch. It was a bit sweet for me, and I had sweet chocolaty macadamia nuts dancing in my head. Maybe next time! Since the weather was cold and drizzly there weren't many takers today. The scooper dude was nice enough; not rude at all like the experience Duncan R. had. I'd have been very cross if I did get my macadamia goodness and had it spoiled by rude service, but that was not the case. While I may not be an ice cream fanatic, Ben & Jerry's always hits the spot.

There's no need for a long review here. The ice cream is good, and the servers are friendly, but the place is generally pretty messy. It's also very small and (like many ice cream places) over-brightly lit, so the feeling I get is to get my ice cream and get out fairly quickly. Perhaps that's the point?

Huge serving of a banana split. They didnt have hot fudge for some reason so we got carmel on the split. Friendly service, quick line, and they didn't mind giving me a little cup of whipped cream for puppers patiently waiting outside. I really liked the vanilla with chocolate cows, lol.

I love Ben and Jerry's ice cream and froyo. Save yourself a headache and just buy it at your local grocery store. This store is cramped, ALWAYS crowded and the staff does not have to nice due to this fact. Stay away and avoid disappointment!

Talk about lack of customer service! The staff could care less if you buy the product or not. Walked in and noticed that many of the ice creams were melting. We asked the staff member and all she did was agree without any explanation. No one bothered to take our order. So we left. Obviously this business does not need our money. Off to Cold Stone :-).

Such a perfect location, such a shame that it's so dirty in there. The woman in front of me was being hit on and received free ice cream. Guess I'll just be saving my money bc I'm not gonna spend it there again

It's fine here - sort of a typical Ben & Jerry's spot. The prices are insane, but I suppose that's par for the course. It's not too comfortable-looking inside, but the area is great for wandering around, and they have the classic cow out front to pose for a picture. Great for kids, particularly after a long day.

This location closed an hour early. They refused to make a smoothie 15 min before closing because they are too lazy to clean the blender after. Ignorant service from all but 1 employee. Horrible representation of the company. Turns people away but then let's others in. Will never come back for a 6 dollar small cup of ice cream.

I looked forward to happy hour for weeks always missing it because I got caught up at work. Between 3-4 pm I think they did 3 scoops for $3. When I finally made it over oh how disappointed I was. All 3 different flavors I had were frostbitten. I couldn't really enjoy it even in the summer heat.

B&J----my very best friends through late nights in college--ooohh the memories. Now, lucky me, its on my way home during my daily commute. Clearly the ice cream is FABULOUS! I mean..c'mon..its Ben & Jerry's! The location in particular is really small. I always grab and go so I haven't really noticed the sticky issues other reviewers are commenting about. Every time I've gone, the people have been nice and I've been in and out. The only exception to that is free cone day but even then the line moved steadily and people served me with a smile.

I rated this okay because yes of course the ice cream was awesome, however this place is too messy. Tables needed to be wiped off and trash was spilling out of the trash can. Just nasty!!! Service was meh. I will be trying another location.

I know Ben and Jerry's ice cream is suppose to be good but the ice cream I had was far from. I had the salted caramel blondie and the coconut 7 layer bar. First, caramel in the salted caramel blondie had a very weird consistency. It was almost as if the ice had thawed and was refrozen several times. It was chewy in a plastic kinda way. Also, I didnt like the salt that was used. It was too salty and they should have used sea salt or some larger crystal salt. The coconut 7 layer bar was ok. I expected 7 different things in it but was disappointed. Honestly, I have had much better ice cream. Even the Ben and Jerry's ice cream they sell in the grocery store is far superior than the ice cream at had at the actual store. Probably because the ice cream at the store was not fresh and perhaps stored incorrectly.

The ice cream here is typical Ben & Jerry's. I went here last evening for the first time and had very rude customer service (even by DC standards). Although the woman at the register eventually gave me my ice cream, she acted as though my presence was a burden to her. She never spoke to me directly and had a loud conversation with her colleague the entire time. Though I thought I had been accustomed to this kind of rudeness, I found it a turn-off nonetheless.

Dazed and Confused? Where have you been all my life? I think Dazed and Confused has dethroned my lifelong favorite Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Cons - This location never looks clean, but I still come here because I know the ice cream isn't made in this dump. The prices are crazy high. $5 for a small? That's just stupid. Pros - Nice workers, good ice cream. Never tried any of their toppings. The facility is a bit dingy and could use a face-lift. Overall, I would come here again next time I am taking stroll through Silver Spring,

This is the little place across the Regal Majestic Stadium 20 & IMAX, a perfect stop while waiting to see the movie. Small place, not much space to sit, a couple of table here and there, there is a cow statute that is the favorite place of kids. Usual range of favors, much smaller than the one in Georgetown.

This place is conveniently located in the middle of the movie theaters and everything else that people go so see in downtown Silver Spring, and one of relatively few Ben and Jerry's left in the DC area. Their scoop shops don't seem to be doing that well for whatever reason (though I suspect their product is stil being bought by many). They weren't really wowing me with their selection; I feel like the Rockville one had a few more flavors, maybe. More that I like, anyway. Word is that B&J's is looking into the vegan ice cream market, but they're not there yet.

I like the location and the cow decor. If I am unsure of the flavor of ice cream I want, the employees are nice about letting me try a few kinds. This is the perfect spot to stop after a meal at one of the restaurants in the surrounding area. I usually just get one scoop of ice cream.
